Isabel Marquez

After graduating from Cardiff University with a BA in Music, Izzy joined the Women in Jazz Media team and began my journalism journey. Since then she has written for various jazz (and other genre based) magazines, and have collaborated with some incredible people.

Her work with Women in Jazz Media has helped her understand further what needs to be done to make the jazz genre more egalitarian, something she focuses on in her writing, and has recently started working for a South London music charity, helping young people to develop through music.
