Welcome to Bad Taste.

We are a platform designed for artists, by artists, to help navigate the pitfalls of the grassroots music scene. Independent & unsigned musicians can often find it difficult to be heard through the noise, while the system seems broken by a lack of representation and passionate promoters.

Set up in November 2022, Bad Taste is the space for you to showcase your art, as well as discuss the topics that YOU believe are most important. We are very aware, from our own experiences working in music, that there are issues that need raising and discussing. We are also aware that the best people to raise them are the people who experience them the most - people like you. 

We have bi-monthly interviews with independent artists, industry professionals, promotion companies and music organisations, all aiming to highlight the issues that face those trying to make it in the music landscape.

Our weekly Artist Spotlights showcase the best of unsigned music from around the world. All genres welcome, no fees.

We also offer track reviews, with genuine, insightful feedback. We know there's nothing worse than sending off promo campaigns to publications, to merely receive what you sent in your email.

You deserve better than that.
